Thymosin Beta-4 is a naturally-occurring 43-amino-acid protein; 'TB-500' is a product name under which commercial peptide products have been shown analytically to contain a short synthetic fragment corresponding to its actin-binding region. Research on the protein and this fragment has studied actin-sequestering activity that regulates cytoskeletal dynamics and cell migration, with animal-model investigation into dermal wound-healing, angiogenesis and cardiac tissue repair. All cited evidence is preclinical — rodent, chick or cell-culture studies, not human clinical trials. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, swirl gently (do not shake), and store unreconstituted vials at 2-8°C short-term or -20°C for long-term storage. Refrigerate (2-8°C) once reconstituted.
